Zivoe’s Next Chapter: Scaling to $100M TVL, Launching zveUSD & More

Laying the Foundation: Zivoe’s First Five Months

Dear Zivoe Community, It has been just five months since our launch, and in that short time we’ve achieved remarkable milestones:

  • Over $6.1M in Total Value Locked (TVL)

  • $313k in revenue since beginning lending operations in November

  • A growing ecosystem of strategic partnerships with protocols like M0 and Plume

These achievements validate our core thesis: bridging on-chain liquidity with real-world consumer loans gives on-chain liquidity providers high sustainable yield while supporting access to credit for consumers. As we look ahead to our next phase of growth, we’re excited to share our strategic vision and roadmap for transforming consumer lending by leveraging blockchain technology.

The Zivoe Model: Tokenizing Consumer Credit

For those new to our protocol, Zivoe connects on-chain capital to private credit opportunities in the consumer lending market. We partner with consumer lenders who take our capital off-chain to fund consumer credit products. The interest from these products flows back to our protocol, generating high sustainable yields for our liquidity providers.

Market Momentum: The RWA Revolution

When we set out to build Zivoe, our team recognized that tokenizing consumer credit could revolutionize the way portfolios are managed in the space—reducing operational costs and delivering direct benefits to end borrowers. Back then, the discussion around tokenizing real-world assets while picking up steam was still relatively nascent. Many in crypto were skeptical about the feasibility and need to bring yield from real-world assets such as consumer loans on-chain. Others in TradFi didn’t at the time see the need for tokenization.

Fast forward a few years and the landscape has dramatically changed. Tokenized real-world assets (excluding stablecoins) have grown from approximately $5.5 billion to $17.5 billion in the last two years1. Major financial institutions such as BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, VanEck, and more have also all come out and acknowledged the benefits that tokenization brings2. This shift is evident in our ongoing conversations with those in the industry. Zivoe is well positioned to take advantage of these trends, and our focus is now on attracting institutional liquidity providers while still staying true to our ethos of allowing anyone (who meet our KYC/AML requirements) to gain exposure to the consumer credit market.

This tailwind coincides with a strong outlook in the consumer credit market in 2025. Despite an elevated interest rate environment, consumer demand for credit remains strong. TransUnion predicts a 5.7% increase in unsecured personal loan originations, totaling approximately 20.8 million originations in 2025. Much of this growth is anticipated to be driven by the subprime segment as lending reopens in this space. Delinquencies across all segments, including subprime, are also expected to remain flat throughout 20253.

Our Strategic Roadmap: Scaling Zivoe

To capitalize on these market opportunities and establish Zivoe as a leading real-world asset credit protocol, we’re focusing on six key initiatives through March and the next two quarters:

  1. Growing TVL to $100M

TVL is our north star metric and having come out of our pilot period and proving the viability of our model, we are focused on scaling TVL from $6.1M to $100M. This expansion will position us for our next stage of growth and significantly increase our ability to meet the growing capital demands of our lending partner.

  2. Launching an Auto-Compounding Stablecoin Vault

We’re streamlining the protocol by consolidating the existing junior and senior tranches into a single Zivoe Vault. Utilizing the ERC-4626, our new vault token – zveUSD – will offer enhanced integrability across the on-chain ecosystem and make it easier for our partners to support liquidity for zveUSD as opposed to fragmenting liquidity across tranche tokens. We anticipate the transition to the new vault product to be completed by the end of the second quarter of this year. More information on zveUSD and how current tranche token holders will be migrated to the new system will be released shortly.

  3. Brand Refresh

To support our scaling and appeal to institutional liquidity providers, we’re undergoing a comprehensive brand refresh. This includes the rollout of new brand assets, a redesigned website, and an updated dApp. Our community can expect the new brand assets and site to be rolled out at the end of this quarter with the updated dApp being launched concurrently with zveUSD.

  4. Secondary Marketing Listings for ZVE & zveUSD

Expanding broad accessibility to ZVE and zveUSD is a key priority. To that end, we are working with our partners to support secondary market listings for both ZVE and zveUSD. Currently, we anticipate listings taking place in late Q2/Q3, and we will provide updates on timing in the future.

  5. Launching a Portfolio Transparency Dashboard

Transparency is crucial in real-world asset tokenization but is often overlooked. In collaboration with our lending partner, we are developing a dashboard that will provide real-time insight into the consumer loan portfolios backing zveUSD. This dashboard is slated for release in Q3, following the vault launch.

  6. Partnerships & Multi-Chain Expansion

One of the biggest benefits of tokenization is the ability for interoperability and composability within the broader on-chain finance ecosystem. This is something our team inherently understands, and to that end, we’ve begun working to form partnerships throughout the space with protocols such as M0 and Plume. We’ll continue to develop strategic relations throughout the year to enhance the protocol and will provide updates as these partnerships are finalized.
