First, a Re-Introduction to Zivoe

Zivoe is a real-world asset credit protocol focused on disrupting the predatory high-interest consumer lending market. The protocol does this by connecting on-chain liquidity to underserved real-world borrowers, helping them escape from cycles of debt by assisting in refinancing and paying off their loans. As these refinanced loans are repaid, the yield is then returned on-chain to liquidity providers.

How to Participate in Zivoe’s Launch

The Initial Tranche Offering (“ITO”) marks the first opportunity for users to deposit stablecoins and receive protocol tokens. For a limited time of just 30 days, participants can deposit stablecoins into either the senior tranche, junior tranche, or both. To incentivize early participation, users who take part in this event will be rewarded with a ZVE airdrop.

How It Works:

1. Depositing Stablecoins: During the ITO, users deposit stablecoins and receive a corresponding tranche token in a 1:1 ratio. Deposits into the senior tranche yield 1 zSTT (senior tranche token) per stablecoin, while deposits into the junior tranche yield 1 zJTT (junior tranche token) per stablecoin. These tokens are claimable after the ITO concludes.

2. Earning pZVE Points: For each stablecoin deposited, senior tranche depositors are awarded 3 pZVE points, and junior tranche depositors are awarded 1 pZVE point.

3. ZVE Airdrop: At the end of the ITO, 5% of the total ZVE supply will be airdropped to participants based on their proportional ownership of pZVE points.

Funds deposited in the ITO will be locked for two years or until the protocol reaches $100M TVL, whichever comes first. For detailed instructions on how to deposit during the ITO see our walkthrough video here.

Why Focus on the Consumer Lending Market?

Addressing a critical gap: It is no secret that the current financial system fails many, including the approximately 106 million Americans who lack access to mainstream credit. This often pushes them towards high-interest lenders, contributing to the approximately $80 billion nonprime personal loan market in the United States. Zivoe is committed to creating a viable, fairer alternative for individuals worldwide.

Bringing real-world yield to crypto: Crypto markets have been characterized by unsustainable, high yields driven by protocols paying out yield solely with governance tokens that have little to no utility. Furthermore, options like tokenized treasury bills, while an important part of the ecosystem, are subject to fluctuations in treasury rates. Zivoe offers a unique solution by providing sustainable competitive yield through exposure to the consumer lending market – a sector typically uncorrelated with traditional assets.
